Monster Jam World Finals Las Vegas
I’m thankful to have teamed up with US Family Guide and bring you all of amazing events at Monster Jam. One of my fellow colleague/friend, Geri over at Geri’s 2 Cents also had the opportunity to attend this year. She was excited to attend! This first timer wanted to be prepared and couldn’t stop messaging me on what to expect at the event. I know some of you probably feel that way too. So I put together 8 tips on how to prepare for the Monster Jam World Finals.
If your’re not too sure on what to expect… be sure to check out these previously written Monster Jam articles.
Here are my 8 tips to prepare for Monster Jam World Finals Las Vegas 2017.
1.) Dress light. Vegas weather is amazing. Shorts and tank-tops are my preference.
2.) Bring Sunscreen, Hats, Sunglasses and lots of water. You can buy water at the event, but water is actually allowed in. Leave a cooler in your car and fill up when needed.
3.) Bring a change of clothing for the evening. When the sun drops, so does the weather. Jeans and a light jacket are preferred.
4.) If driving – tailgate. There is about an hour and a half in between the pits to the start of the show that is perfect for having dinner. We bring an iced cooler, with cold fried chicken, chips, fruit and drinks. The parking lot is really close to the stadium making it really convenient to walk back to.
5.) During Pit Party time – Feel free to load up your fold-able wagon and chairs. I personally don’t like tugging all that. I’d recommend getting a compact picnic blanket. Finding a place to sit on the ground is easy. However in some areas you may be sitting on dirt or asphalt so having a light compact picnic blanket is definitely worth it.
6.) Consider buying the Monster Jam Souvenir Yearbook. This is a great place to have all of your favorite drivers sign their autographs. Plus it becomes a keepsake for each year you attend.
7.) Don’t forget your charge your camera and double check to make sure youSD card is in the camera. Bring an extra one just in case. You’ll be surprised at how many pictures you want to take.
8.) The trucks can be loud and frightening to little kids, not to mention the fireworks before, during the show can be startling as well. Consider bringing some noise reduction ear muffs for the younger kids.
That’s all my tips on how to prepare for Monster Jam World Finals – Las Vegas.
